Six Sigma Black Belt / Project Manager for product development
Led implementation of Six Sigma, 7 years of experience in Lean, DMAIC and DFSS, implemented it globally in corporate and manufacturing. Mentored Greenbelts in our business and partnering companies. Identified and abated risks of multi-generation products.
* Planed and delivered 15 Six Sigma projects by managing sourcing products and Six Sigma implementation in Global Sourcing Department. Instructed and mentored 5 project mangers, 9 green belts and 5 people in partner companies from China, Korea and Japan.
* Reduced annual warranty claims from 65% to 8.9% in year 1, from 8.9% to 2.3% in year 2 by analyzing the electromechanical design, directing reliability test plans of high volume climate conditioning products and by leading a team of 7 shared functional leaders and partnering businesses in the New Product Introduction/Stage Gate Process.
* Organized spending for five global programs using electronic purchase orders system; presented projects progress to executive and project management groups.

Project Manager for product development
Built strategic alliances with partnering companies globally, grew branded AC product offering
* Evaluated qualification of new oil fueled furnace and launched product to market in 5 months, led virtually multi-functional ad-hoc team of 10 people using Webex and teleconferencing.
* Studied indoor air quality (IAQ) products market for residential applications, built strategic alliances with electro-mechanical durable goods providers, wrote requests for proposals, chaired new procurement bids, negotiated pricing – contracts terms for product buy and resale
* Took 20 durable goods from manufacturer in Korea and sourced them from USA and China providers, launched them to market in 12 months, managed multifunctional ad-hoc team of 37. Using Gantt, Pert, WebEx, MS project, and industry codes (AHAM, ASHRAE, ASME, ARI, FTC, ISO, UL, GAMA, CE, CSA, EPA, MIL, and ANSI).
* Planned and delivered 3 Six Sigma projects with direct savings from warranty claims and product costs savings. Using DMAIC, DFSS, SIPOC, Process Mapping, FMEA, Capability, Design of Experiments, Visual Factory, Market Segmentation, Quality Function Deployment, etc.

Operations Planner
Led implementation of Toyota Production Systems in 7 plants
* Evaluated manufacturing methods, equipment, and processes then listed multiple cost savings projects to optimize production and operational costs, value streamed order management process.

Research and Development Planner
Authored Stage and Gate (S&G) program to manage risks from new or improved products
* Implemented S&G program globally trained 350 multi-functional business partners in USA, Asia and Western Europe using Webex and teleconferencing, anticipated incremental sales revenues.
